I'm in Portland until Sunday (28 July) and am looking for some decent, reasonably priced places to eat. I'm vegetarian--staying near the Peal district downtown. Any recommendations? Much appreciated...

I like The Laughing Planet. Vegetarian friendly, and the food's good.

Besaw's in the alphabet district (3rd?) is a fav of our daughter's when she's there. She's a 'casual' vegetarian, and not sure of that aspect, don't remember, but great breakfasts for sure.

    Thanks fellers.

Portland has some great food, no doubt. This is my third time here and I love it—nice restaurants, super kind people and running is great. icon_smile.gif

ask smartmoney, he thinks that area is the social mecca of this country, but if you ask the rest or the country and travelers from all over the world they would pick NYC.icon_idea.gif
