The grass is always greener when u have all the things that others want. Don't u feel lucky because everything goes ur way & u feel life is worth living & everything's coming up roses?! Would u trade places & live miserably? Would u be able to give it all up or would u love living above the status quo too much to?.....

Life is what you make of it ... a rich man might be miserable in his life of wealth while a poor may be happy with what little he has. The poorest man might consider himself the richest man in the world and a rich man might believe he can never have enough. The opposite is also true. Some are thrown into miserable circumstances without ever wanting to be in those circumstance; a spouse or child that is abused; a man unjustly accused or imprisoned. No body wants to be miserable, no matter their social economic status, however some make themselves miserable by the way they choose to look at their life.

Aristoshark saidYour threads seem to have a common theme: Do you wish you were someone else, do you wish you could trade bodies or brains with someone, do you envy what others have, etc.

    Are you comfortable with yourself?

I create topics for others who relate to it to ponder. Just like others are free to talk about what they will, so am I icon_smile.gif .....

If everything went my way and it was all worth living and it all came up as roses I know that I definitely wouldn't give it up at all.
Heck, just being happy where you are in life is a struggle so I'd even just settle for that and be grateful.

Generally I'd say that if people honestly felt that they had it good, it wouldn't be traded for anything else.
Unless it was a person who didn't know that they had it good til it was gone.

    --EDIT--
Aww, well Spegm don't worry I don't mind your threads at all icon_smile.gif

I wasn't questioning your right to start threads. And as I've told you before, I enjoy them. I was just curious about how these things occur to you and whether they had a personal connection with you.

It's my ability to empathize & see the plurality in everything. I see all sides---the cynic, the naive, the jaded, the ideal, the happy, the sad, those seen & heard, those not seen & heard. I know people will judge, yet I put it out there knowing someone will relate to it icon_smile.gif .....

Topics, yes, fine. But he posted two threads which were essentially about precisely the same subject. THAT'S unnecessary.
