This is one of the major reasons that, "Moody's Investors Service on Thursday raised the U.S. sovereign outlook to stable from negative and affirmed the country's triple-A rating, citing steady growth despite reduced government spending.

Moody's said the federal government's debt trajectory is on track with criteria the rating agency previously laid out, even without further budget measures from Washington."

Needs to come back down to the Bush levels as a percent of GDP.

    http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials-perspective/113012-635352-bush-tax-cuts-did-not-cause-deficits.htm?p=full

"The post-tax-cut surge in economic growth and tax revenues helped drive down the deficit from 3.5% of gross domestic product in 2004 to 2.6% in 2005, to 1.9% in 2006 and to a manageable 1.2% in 2007."

After running it up way beyond any record. I won't be impressed until there's a REAL balanced budget WITHOUT using the Social Security money, which I believe hasn't happened since 1969.

By the way, how could this be, with record numbers of people on unemployment and disability and food stamps? And all of Obama's wars and aid to the muslim brotherhood? I think it's at best a distortion, and at worst, a lie.

This is how I know Republicans love themselves more than they love America: they attack Obama for doing what it took to pull us out of the Great Recession.

You don't understand how the deficit could be falling because of all the lies and distortions you've been gobbling up.
