Ick! It's OK for National Geographic photos, but hate to see them IRL. Can also pass on guys with eyebrow or nose piercings, tongue studs, or razor blades or safety-pins hanging from ears. I guess if they got stretched to about 2 feet in length, and were braided or tied behind the head, the guy would have photographic interest.

I think it is a ridiculous fad. A bunch of sheep.

The pics you posted, in my opinion, aren't too bad. They're pretty small. The neck tat on the second guy is the worst thing about that pic.

However, I'm not a fan of the HUGE stretched ears. Definitely a turn-off for me.

Why a really good looking guy would want to ugly himself up, is truly beyond me ... personally I think it is really sad to see really good looking guys completely fuck up their appearance. I get that there are inward issues that surface themselves in self destructive behavior. When I was young I put cigarette burns on my arm (deep ones), I think I was one the first to pierce my ear right in the middle of the ear and one of firsts ones to shave the sides of my head, in both cases people either snickered or were curious as to why i did it, but this form of mutilation goes way beyond an possible repair.

I love the added touch of things implanted under the skin.

They could have waited a couple of years as age will do that for them for free.

I had a friend who wore gauges starting his Freshman year of high school and then by the time we hit senior year of high school his ears were hanging...good lord...then again you can surgically fix your ears but still.

Unless you're planning on joining the circus, I just don't get it.
It seems the extreme mods would be risky health-wise.

I would think it was for the shock factor, and not to be attractive, in a pleasing sense.

I do think the big rings might come in handy, for example, when you're washing dishes and need a place to hang the dry towel, it would be right there in easy reach.

I would never tell anyone what they can and can't do to their bodies, but they can't tell me I have to like it or think it looks good, because I don't.

I think it's sexy, but as long as they don't stretch them too big.
