Anyone see this movie? reviews seem to be warm at best...Which is unfortunate because i loved the silver samurai story arc.

But i absolutely hated the first wolverine movie that came out back in 2009, so im torn on whether i should watch it, or wait until i can dl it. ha.

A lot of scenes with Hugh Jackman with close-ups of his hairy bare muscled chest & pumped muscles with veins popping! O daddy! icon_smile.gif .....

I heard that it was better than the last Wolverine. I want to see it - I've enjoyed all of the X-Men movies (yes, even X-Men 3).

Good movie. And a big plus on his physique matching up.

A friend of mine said it was really good. I think it'd be interesting if a film cast an actor that was the same height as Wolverine is in the comics (5'3").

It was predictable. As much as I liked watching Hugh Jackman's bulging arms, my favorite character was the Japanese chick who was kicking everyone's ass.

IT FUCKING ROCKED. I'll concede some formulaic aspects, but what action flick doesn't have them? And for a sequel, that was requisite.

And the added benefit of Hugh Jackman's awesome furry hunky incredible body all in 3D in my face teasing the living fuck out of me the entire time . . . WOOOOOOF!

Maybe slightly predictable. But the story was pretty awesome, the casting was pretty awesome, the acting was great. They took a lot of liberties with that characters, so fans shouldn't go into this movie expecting to know what/how the characters will react!

I really enjoyed it. I thought Mangold did a good job of paring Logan and Mariko, and Viper was just a bitch. It was great. MILES ahead of Wolverine Origins. And the post credit scene was fab!

It was special . . . but it was a set-up for another movie, for sure. Glad of it, too.

It was disappointing. 75% of the movie was slow and ponderous. The plot was cliche and predictable, and sometimes just plain ridiculous, even by comic-book standards (I wont' give examples as not to spoil it). The character of Logan lost his sarcastic wit. Though they did try to work in some of it into the script, the timing seemed poor and the delivery was half-assed.

Redeeming qualities? Hugh Jackman's incredible physique. Will Yun Lee. Brian Tee.

Let me add just another uber-picky pet peeve of mine: the title of the movie.

I enjoyed it very much, albeit the predictable plot and minor details that stop the fluidity of the film.

I love it, overall and Hugh Jackman is hot hot hot!

Notwithstanding some of the bizarre criticisms here (which make us wonder if they actually saw it or just read a so-called critic's review, which seem to prove the point of them being purely critical not objective), you'll love the movie when you do see it. And honestly, what's not to love about Hugh Jackman half naked for a good part of the movie? icon_smile.gif

    So which do you choose?
"Dungeon, nurse's office, or mission to mars?"

that was pretty much the only good part...

I found the shoehorned in love stories annoying I hate movies by committee (ya can we add jean in a negligee every 5 minutes....) the last half hour with the silver samurai was just stupid. It was like seeing the goldfish in the robot suits in ratchet and clank.

So are they just going to leave him with weak claws?

wolverine needs to be sarcastic, and not a big pussy.
