Although I am the one who started the breakup it still doesnt make it any easier. His last words were "it was easier than I thought". And we didnt shed a tear during this "breakup" session. It was calm and mutual.

And four hours later here I am after 6 plus oz of vodka. Feeling sad.

Give me something happier to think about.
    Thanks

Already drinking Vodka? How long was the relationship?

I would just get in some comfy pjs, rent a movie and lay in bed. after week 2 it's time to hang out with a best friend and go somewhere fun, but mellow.

I'll never understand why people drink when they're depressed. Has that ever made anyone feel better?

Sorry to hear of the break up. You're right, it doesn't matter who initiates it or why, it's very tough.

    Hang in there.

Thank you for making me feel better everyone. I really appreciated it. No drinking doesn't make me feel any better.

It's funny how people who I known for a short period of time are so willing to reach out to me and make me feel better. I feel very lucky to have good friends.

My mother was was the funniest - "Why are you drinking when you can go outside and have the rain pour on you so you know how reality feels like". And goes on saying how bitter my drink is. Oh mother...sigh.

    Thanks again RJ peeps~

    and why is that?!

My suggestion is after 6 have another 6, if it still doesn't help - keep trying icon_smile.gif

It's ok to feel sad. It's part of the healing process.
Give it some time, then get back out and do things you like - you'll be ok. Life goes on and you'll survive, we'll all been there.

I'm sorry to hear about your breakup. They're usually devastating and painful. It's hard to hear "it gets easier" when you're going through hell, but eventually it will even though time sure seems to slow down during the process. I wish all the best to you icon_smile.gif
