DanOmatic saidI love the fact that Uruguay is willing to push the boundaries further than its South American counterparts. Not that the country doesn't have problems, but it's far more stable and forward thinking than anywhere else in the region, and it is a model for other countries in how it quietly bucks convention and does things its own way.
In Uruguay, you can forget about the cost of health care...about sky-high taxes...about crime...or about "doing 'without."
That's because Uruguay is a Latin American country that's rich in natural beauty...with inexpensive properties...without any Third World trade-offs...where we as gays can be in love or not in love and still marry and have kids, just as much as anyone else there.
Even the laws have been rewritten, so we can be as equal as the rest of the population.
