    Hey Jocks

Every day I open my cupboard all I do is sigh. thinking What the hell? Nothing is Interesting! nor sexy. Well there are some sexy clothing but it's very limited,

I go to malls and I look at female clothing stores, their clothing are so fashionable! I'm not saying that I want to cross dress, but What I'm trying to say is that Designers spend most of their time making designs for female clothing and when you get a male clothing designer it's like they're making the same old stuff over and over! it's only the colours that changes

    does anyone feel the same?

Im actually glad we dont have as many as female. Less clothing to browse, faster to find what you are looking for, less dilemma to choose between clothing. Besides only suits bring out the handsomeness in a man.

I completely disagree. There has never been more variety and options in male fashion as there is now.

I don't go shopping much for clothes as I have tons ... maybe once a year ... but I thought I would browse yesterday. I was a little surprised because I thought that a lot of the fashions that are now out for men are very feminine in appearance ... so much so, that I saw girls shopping in the men's department for clothes ... that should tell you something.

That's actually kind of true. I think it does suck that women get to have so much variety in evening gowns, whereas we're stuck in our penguin suits. But then again, maybe a lot of men don't care all that much.

Although for me it's like: "Value Village is having a sale! Holla!"

In my opinion, gay men have the best fashion sense. So I don't know where that question came from.

Also, I wouldn't say the fashion is limited at all. There are so many different styles out there.

I think a lot of guys just have other things on their minds. Rather than worry about tricky combinations of clothing, they just want to get on with the day. Most of the guys I know, straight or gay, want to look good, but don't care to call a lot of attention to themselves or to spend extra money trying to follow trends.

Ok I'll be honest. I care much more about what a guy looks like without clothes than with. Style can change, bodies are real work haha icon_razz.gif

The convenience of the menswear department always being on the first floor of JC Penney always makes up for the dearth of choice.

Limited choice only means you have to work a little harder. Anyone can have nylon ropes sewn into their hair, rip a pair of jeans and go crazy with a Bedazzler but it's possible to be subtly subversive without looking too affected - for example, anyone actually into fashion wouldn't fail to notice my sorta tartan houndstooth check tuxedo bow tie:

It's a lot easier to dress like a rock star than become one.

you are looking at the wrong designers - there is a designer for every taste and every wardrobe....there are those designing for those who dont care about all this shit and those who do
from the more avant garde designers
    Versace
    tumblr_mnspv1krC71rzyrzto1_500.jpg

more cerebral with a sense of humor Thom Browne
    thom-browne-fall-2012-2-fashion.jpeg

    thom-browne-ss13-presentation-4.jpg

    futuristic and androgynous Ric Owens
    7807-700w.jpg

just some examples ....I could flood this page with super exciting mens wear

personally - I detest fleeting trends and could not care less with what is last season or not - I have little more than a curious interest in an industry which is pre-designed to be obsolete every four months - I am fascinated by how people choose to express and label themselves by what they choose to wear -

Well, the silhouette for men hasn't changed that much, at least in the West, for quite some years. (You can thank the influence of the military for that.) And it is true: when you compare the options women have to that of men, it is very limited (unless you're talking athletic wear which is where men's fabrication has really experimented/broadened).

That said, clothes are on the whole neutral so there's no reason you can't rock women's clothes, do your own, or go the non-western route. Of course you need to be a bit bold and confident to handle the WTF stares you'll undoubtedly get by some, but if they give you trouble just tell em, "It's not my style that's wrong but your limited imagination."

(And now that I've earned my Gay Card for the day, goodnight!)

If I made the rules the only thing men would be allowed to wear would be a speedo.
