RJ PICS STOLEN: Pop Up on Another Site

An RJ buddy of mine called my attention that 3 of my RJ pics are now on another site, identified as a 29 year old named "Matt". Apparently that fake profile appeared yesterday.

The other site's requirements: To show a profile and pics a fake, you must show it by taking a verification photo, much like what we do with the "1,2,3"
here on RJ. Irritating to say the least.

I really find something like that offensive, more because of the deception behind the whole thing to those who may see the profile.

Sounds shady... Who's to say they won't use the verification picture on their site as well, to let others know you're a "real person"? Sounds like a lawsuit threat may be at hand... icon_evil.gif

Not only offensive but it makes me wonder what other potential uses people might be having for the pictures. Identity theft is one potential pitfall of the internet.

I have a MySpace friend whose picture has been used by three different people, including a RJ person. Kind of scary there are people out there that have so little integrity.

My bf had a similar incident on a gay cruising site, where someone was using a picture of him and he went through weeks of verifying with the website that the picture was him and that the profile needed to be taken down. It was crazy and very stressful for him.

This really sucks, sorry it happened to you.
