Anyone else having election withdrawal problems? I still want to look at vote counts on CNN etc. Trying to back away from watching political shows so much, has become so much of the same thing.

Not really so much for me. I do miss evaluating the campaign focus on
each state and their consensus for victory... I don't miss the sniping comments, the constant focus. Time to think about some other things.

It will be interesting to watch Obama as he fills his cabinet and prepares for
the oath of office in January.

The Lame Duck Watch, and the Transition Team Show is just as interesting though not as hard hitting but I'll survive.

I love politics and read about it constantly, year round. But I am a polling whore. Having to look at data from smaller sample sizes with sloppier techniques in dinky little state races is going to hurt.

And isn't a post-election RealJock group hug in order?

Oh my god, this is me... I was such a daily poll junkie. Looking at the various daily polls, the various electoral maps, Huffingtonpost, Americablog, fivethirtyeight, so many others -- even Drudgereport!

I'd go to Betty Ford, but I think I'd end up wanting to talk to her about politics. (Yes, I know she's no longer with us...)

I think Betty is still with us, I live just down the street from her. I think she turned 90 in the Spring.

Actually, feeling a lot better since the election.
I was so pissed off in the weeks before.
    Now? Quite cool and collected.

Damnit, I meant to double-check that!!! Yes, it looks like she is still with us, god bless her. Well, good! Then we CAN still talk politics. By the way, any new info on how Obama's transition efforts are going before I check in? Any new McCain insiders slamming Palin? How are the ballot counts going in Alaska and Minnesota? Okay!! I'm going, I'm going!

Uh OH! They looked so much like the zombies from Return of the Living Dead, it could be argued that they were registered to vote by ACORN. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
