I could write a short story here about my relationship with Adderall but I'm not. I want to know if there's anyone who is currently taking it successfully?

    I absolutely love the stuff.

Used to take while in college and it helped out so much. All my roommates had it and practically every college kid was taking it.

Anyway, dont take it so mnuch anymore, but I know a few ppl who can get some if I need. It just puts you in a good mood and makes one focused. What's not to love?

Never heard of it before this. The side effects section in the following would make me think twice about using it regularly.

Doctors diagnosed my oldest son with ADHD as a child, and said Adderall was a treatment option. They also said he might get some relief by taking ordinary coffee for its caffeine stimulation, and by seeing child behavioral specialists, along with his mother & me.

When we learned of possible Adderall negative side effects, including dependency, we decided to take the other options first. The child psychologist we engaged spent a lot of time with his mother & me alone, training us how to deal with an ADHD child. It was a revelation, things I would never have known to do for him on my own. It meant a lot of work on our part, but I think better than reaching for a pill bottle as the easy solution. Easy for us, maybe not so good for him.

And the coffee helped, too, something I wouldn't otherwise have let a child under 10 drink except for the doctor's OK. When he was being "difficult" a cup of coffee would do wonders, right in front of our eyes.

It all worked out well, and our son improved. I'm skeptical of drug solutions for behavioral issues, especially those that risk dependency and other problems, before all other reasonable alternatives have been explored. And I certainly wouldn't take such drugs for recreational or other non-approved purposes, like to keep me awake in college.

Thanks ART_DECO for that information. Coffee makes me feel sluggish and can put me to sleep.

When I ask for personal experience I'm not asking for people who have illegally taken adderall. That is a felony.
