Yeah I am going to be at the rally in Phoenix this Saturday... I am glad my nephew's birthday is on Sunday, not on Saturday.

Here's where you can find your local protest against prop 8

I will be at the Long Beach event. Anybody else going to be there?

It is amazing how many web sites that just list the protest locations. I have no idea how to keep up with all of them. There is one tonight in sacramento that lasts all night: 11pm to 7am.

Here are a couple:

PALM SPRINGS: Rally at 7pm tomorrow, Nov 13th, at Frances Stevens Park (corner of Alejo and Palm Canyon). It's perfect weather for those supporters that want to get away from the freezing coast.

What a great place to have em at Town Halls, and stuff, and not targeting organisations, when it was voters who took away your new rights.

I'm amazed I haven't see any news coverage about this down here? But it's not an issue for the gays down here, as they have Civil Unions. I don't as I have two loved ones, but I'm not bitter or angry that I don't have the right to commit to my two men. Oh but I do, as I am committed to my two men. we don't need some peace of paper to validate our love or commitment.

Is it about a piece of paper? Or is it about you not being recognized as having equal rights? I think it's an issue for gays everywhere. And I think this kind of attitude as seen above is just sad.

why do you feel it is sad?

Because I'm not angry, or bitter that gays even in this City get rights I don't, to commit to my two loved ones. I am being discriminated because I am loved by two men, and not just one!

Gays who's parents moved to Oz, get rights I don't, and I am 6 generations born here. What it's sad that I am not angry or bitter, and don't need a scapegoat to target because newcomers to Oz get rights I don't.

Sorry even if I lived in CA, with my two men, and gays in CA could wed the "one" they love. I would still be excluded, and do you think the gays of America would be blocking traffic for me. "NO!" Because they would have what they want; Now thats sad. After all it's about minority's rights, and being the Only fag in the Village, with two long term relationships, makes me a minority, within a minority.

But I'm not Bitter are angry.
