Do older guys get an ego trip out of sleeping with college kids?

    From this post.

Apparition saidit is true on every site i have been on (canada too). There is a huge dip in the 30s age group. They are mostly in ltr and not looking, or working and dont have time. They are also a very fearful group for sti's so they are shy. There was a big advertising push during their childhoods that did a number on them.

It means a lot of 40 year old guys are sleeping with college kids (yay ... of course college kids are terrible at sex, but they can be pretty.)

Obviously the college kids who sleep with men in their forties are a minority, but I'm just wondering.

Some do, but I would guess that for the most part, older guys that have sex with college age kids are doing it because they find them hot, and to have a lot more sexual energy than most 40 year olds. I wouldn't say I am "in to" college kids (and since I have a partner, I would not be seeking them out now), but if I were single, I would certainly enjoy sex occasionally with college-aged kids. It has nothing to do with ego - it's not some conquest. My tastes in men are catholic - I have liked all men of various ages, but younger guys tend to have more "youthful" energy than older guys. To boot, everything in our culture (advertising) is all about glorifying youth, so if the ads are successful, maybe it has rubbed off on me and other guys.

It doesn't make sense, and the fact that he's calling them "kids" sounds chicken-hawkish...

It always seems like the guys who go for younger guys are unnattractive and have small dicks (how's that for stereotypes?)

At the time i really didnt care what i slept with, i hadnt had sex in 8 months. They came to me too btw, i was looking for some more late 30s after a 12 year ltr. My tow is also 80% university students so ther is not a lot of choice. New bf is 44.

And as far as judging people, how old do you think most porn is?

It has nothing to do with ego and you guys need to stop discriminating against those of us suffering ADD. Your level of compassion is disgraceful. Just heart breaking. Shame on you all.

Don't go dissing someone just because he has age dysmorphic disorder. It's not our fault that you don't realize we think we're still 20. When accompanied, as often is, by Peter Pan Syndrome, we can be in a group of 29 year olds and wonder who are all these old people around us.

So the next time you notice a 56 year old man checking out your 23 year old basket, remember, everyone remains a kid inside.

Lol. So sue me if I just think it's fucked up that at 34 I'm too old for some guy in his 40s.

And I'm soooo glad I don't have ADD.

When I was young, I did it out of stupidity because someone paid attention to me and treated me nice ... would I do it again ... oh hell NO ... so would I ever do the same to a younger guy knowing what I know now ... no I wouldn't, I'm not a fucking ass hole

Well, the beauty of my bullshit is you can play it either way, works on the way up or down. And then of course we can always cite dementia. "Oh, no, I'm not creeping. I didn't realize you just rejected me five minutes ago; I thought you were someone new." Everyone under 30 looks the same to me anyway. I can't tell you people apart.

I played with older guys when I was younger. Had nothing to do with attention with me. I pretty much got all I wanted anyway. I found them fascinating. One guy, an artist, I bet was in his 50s. A summer fling on Key West. I was staying with friends but left there to stay with him.

I was pretty much into older guys until I became one. And I've got a female friend who went out for a long time with a guy I think in his 70s or 80s when she was probably 30s or 40s. She wound up marrying a guy about 12 years her senior.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I think a big caveat in sleeping with college guys is dealing with their emotional instability and risking them leeching on after the hookup. I understand the instability can happen at any age but college guys seem to be more vulnerable in the emotional department. Hell, just read the "Dating & Relationships" forums and you'll see what I'm talking about.
