Cholesterol NOT Cause of Heart Problems: Inflammation Is

    I'm not really sure what to conclude from this article, but he is saying that it isn't the cholesterol that is bad for the heart, but the inflammation that causes the cholesterol to clog the arteries.

    The rest of his advice is good and I have no problem with like staying away from processed foods and trying to eat foods as close to their natural state as possible.

    I generally have bought into this guy's theory as a result of studying up in an effort to get my own blood lipids under control. I don't believe that cholesterol has nothing to do with heart disease - I think that overstates it - but for many people, carbohydrate causes the over-expression of atherogenic LDL-P. Cut the carbs, you cut down the particles, and you cut down your risk.
