HELLO ALL!! I require assistance with my fast metabolism haha. You see I can eat like crazy, junk food, normal food, healthy food you name it. Whenever I want and I will gain weight at the end of the day but when I wake up the next morning..... I LOSE IT ALL!! I get back to my original weight. I NEED HELP!! haha
I would work out but I would risk losing weight and I'm pretty sure that I am like paper Mario, I can slip into any crack... IN THE WALL! haha! anyway I tried drinking protein shakes aswell but that doesn't really seem to help.

It's been 10 years and I've gained 5kg in original weight..

    PLEASE HELP! icon_smile.gif

    THANKS!

    This video might be helpful.

There are few ways to gain wait but it's not applicable for all...for each it's different.
work less, eat more that's what many do. especially fatty foods.

First of all are you sure you have posted the correct information? Are you saying that from age 8 until 18 you've only gained 11 pounds? Something does not sound right. What does your DOCTOR say about this? What about your parents? Aren't they concerned you are SO UNDERWEIGHT? Your story doesn't make any sense.

The simple answer is you need to eat more. You think you're eating like crazy, but you're not gaining weight, so clearly you are not eating as much as you need in order to create a caloric surplus. Get yourself a food scale, weigh your portions and start hitting a consistent, very high, caloric target and lift weights.

My cousin and her husband in their teens were as skinny as you can imagine, they remained very very skinny till 21-22 and then all of a sudden something happened and they started gaining weight - now they are in their 30s and both are overweight. i think it's better to be skinny than to be overweight, sometimes your hormones take time to change your body, you are still very young and things may change while you are in your mid 20s.

I had this problem (when I was younger) you have to eat more often, before workouts have a protein shake, after workouts have another. Snack on chicken and steak through out the day. I was up to seven mini meals a day before I started seeing positive results. I was able to bulk up from 165 to 190 in six months, but it hurt to eat that much.

I must say, I have very little sympathy for you. Without exercise, I'd gain weight by eating 1900 calories a day.

If you're skinny and can't gain weight by eating a ton, then you just need to embrace your body type. Skinny/toned/swimmer's body guys can still be very sexy. No need to become something you aren't.

However, if you are actually only 80 pounds, then you do need to do something, because that's not normal. Anything under 115 for a 5'9 guy like you is extremely unhealthy.

There's no way he ways 80 kilos. The most he weighs, judging by his pics, is 140 lbs. I'd probably guess that he weighs 125-130 lbs.

    What?
This is more reason to workout. For the record working out doesn't just mean cardio. You should really focus on weight training.
Working out will also increase your appetite. You need to workout.

Also If you're trying to bulk you should be eating a crazy amount of food. A friend of mine had a similar problem. What he did was drink a weight gainer protein shake along with 3 of his meals. He also ate 6 meals a day loaded with carbs. This along with the gym had him finally gaining weight.

What exercises are you doing to bulk up? How are you doing them(how many sets, reps, weight/resistance amount etc)?

I am in the same situation as the OP I currently weigh 57 kg and even when I did hire a trainer for nearly a year I maxed out at 62kg. And he wouldn't let me do any of the activities I liked such as running or racquet ball or tennis. So any suggestions are appreciative. Apologies in advance for the rant this is my first post.

Does this actually help or do you just get "skinny fat"?
