It is amazing how much ignorance there is in the straight and gay community about wrestling. true story, I know someone who was fired from a school district. He was a BG east wrestler and a public high school wrestling coach. He was in a number of wrestling videos, some straight wrestling, others mixed wrestling with some sex and erotic wrestling mixed in. In all of his wrestling videos he wrestled and dominated young, good looking teens and young adults age 18-20 something. Some of the wrestling was real, some of it pro. Even though this built wrestler never, NEVER has touched any student, and NENER touched anyone under 18 he was fired! Do you think that was the right decision for Massachusetts to do? If so why and explain your answer.

So yet another thread is going to clear all right up?

As I said in several other threads

Dewd, the more you talk the more you confirm.

When you take a teaching job you sign a contract that will always have a moral clause in it. If you violate that clause then you can be fired. A teacher in an erotic video puts the school in a very uncomfortable position of being able to serve all public moral values equally. If you violate the moral clause of the contract, then you no longer have a right to the job.

a gym teacher, who teaches wrestling to teens, being in porn videos with kids a year or two older than students.... in a wrestling format... seems as if hes living out fantasies.

Better safe than sorry. One man's job, or potentially numerous students affected? I think it's obvious.

Shouldn't the teacher be pairing the students with each other and not actually participating?

He's been a member for all of four days and look at the length of his hot list already. Notice any similarities?

He sure doesn't waste time and gets right to work.

Another wrestling coach - a $75,000-a-year, 30 year old schoolteacher - recently lost his job just for appearing shirtless as a guest at a rowdy backyard pool party on a reality show even though he was shown trying to de-escalate an argument. Then again, this wasn't just any reality show but "Princesses of Long Island." Appearing on that would be considered worse judgment than touching a student inappropriately. A line from that party's hostess pretty much sums up the show: "This is Old Brookville. If you're gonna fight, get the fuck out."

That's a pretty good wage! Teachers in the UK get nowhere near that.

Professional wrestling is something I grew up with back in the 1950s when we had people like Gorgeous George, Baron Leone, Chief Don Eagle, etc. with gorgeous costumes and colorful names. The matches were erotic (usually a villain against a good guy with the villain trying all kinds of "dirty" tricks)and fun. There were even some "scientific" matches with two good guys paired, and they were an unmitigated bore. A book on professional wrestling said that the matches had homoerotic overtones, and I would agree, what with the guys clutching each other and grimacing. Today's professional wrestling doesn't do a thing for me.
As to the subject at hand, what a person does outside his work place--as long as he is not damaging anyone--is his private business and no one else's, and he should not be taken to task for it.

Wow, did you guys read anything i posted right???? Who said the gym teacher wrestled any student? Some kids came to his defense. If you checked his criminal record you will see he has none! No one student can say he touched him in a sexual way, because he has not. I can get more info on him if anyone wants to do more research on the topic.

Still, to be honest, if I had a kid in his class, I would want extra assurance he would not touch my kid. Wrestling for BG east wrestling, doing pornagraphic wrestling vidoes with 18, 19 year old teenagers at times while working in a public school system will raise some eye brows.

This is what I am talking about, No one should ever be fired for just taking his shirt off only! Nothing sexual went on, why was he fired???
