With the new pope making neutral comments on gays, is there a remote possibility that the church could change a bit? I recently saw in my hometown newspaper an article about an Austrian priest who spoke at a Methodist church about having women priests and married priests. And another point he made was that the church should show tolerance for gays. Since his views are antithetical to the r.c. church, naturally he wasn't allowed to speak at a r.c. church. And his point about tolerance for gays, just how far did he mean the church should go? He didn't clarify his statement, so it leaves you wondering.
