Questions about herpes and/or boils...

Okay, I don't know what to think. This may be kind of long so hang with me.
Wednesday (8/7/13), I noticed a large, red, hard when pressed but tender and squishy when touched lightly, bump in my pubic area. I'd say about a half inch from the base of my shaft. I don't think it was there on Tuesday (I didn't see it when masturbating Tuesday night) so it had to have developed between the time I finished masturbating & the time I showered that Wednesday (which was around 1 Wednesday afternoon). It was painful at all unless pressure was applied (which is how I noticed it in the shower when I was washing down there). So on Thursday, I went to dinner with my best friend & when I came home & checked on it (not like it was hurting or anything while I was out) I noticed it was bleeding ever so slightly. I I lightly applied pressure and bloody pus came out. Like it was blood but it was link due to puss then a little clump of just pus came out after. So I cleaned it with peroxide, applied some witch hazel, then antibacterial ointment then covered with a bandaid.
Still wasn't painful unless a lot of pressure was applied. Friday it was the same thing, so today when I applied pressure, it doesn't hurt at all. Like not one bit.

I've had ingrown hairs in this area before but they were NEVER this big. (I knew they were ingrown hairs because when I popped it the hair came out along with pus). I haven't had sex since January. Was tested in April & everything came back negative.

I read somewhere the herpes sores, when open, clean clear fluid and not blood/pus. Does what I described sound like heroes or a boil? The clinic where I live is by appointment only so I have to call Monday to possibly get it checked out but until then I'd just like some insight from you guys.
Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!
(I typed this on my phone so if there are any errors I apologize lol!)

OR...could it possibly be a spider bite?? I did sleep naked Tuesday night & my bed is right next to my window. Being that I love in Texas, it's not uncommon to come across itty bitty beige color spiders this time of year. I know nothing about their bites but could that be a possibility as well? :/

Hmmm...The first pic resembles a spider bite, or a removed hair that curled back and penetrated the skin making twin holes, which infected. The second pic looks like either herpes or syphilis chancre.

Why don't you go to a doctor? Or if not at least a walk in STD clinic just to rule that aspect out? (if you have been sexually active with others)

As for infection, bear in mind that peroxide does NOT work against staph aureous. Staph converts it into simple water. What works (but does sting) is isopropyl alcohol (60% formulation is fine and inexpensive at drugstores.) I suggest getting a doctor to look at it and even do a swab of it FIRST before getting too much into self treatment.

This is going to sound crazy but it sounds like acne. When pimples become huge, they have pus and blood coming out when the skin ruptures. Acne can appear anywhere on the body including the genitals. Just to be sure, definitely make your appointment on Monday so you can see your doctor.

By the way, Herpes does not show up with a blood lab exam. ONLY when you have symptoms can a doctor diagnose you with it. Good luck!

Well I was tested back in April for everything. It all came back negative.
I haven't been sexually active in a LONG time.
I'm thinking its a spider bite. Right now as I'm writing this, it looks like the first pic I posted. With the two holes. I'm not going to entirely rule out herpes, but I don't have any of the symptoms of herpes. There was no tingling, burning, or itching prior to noticing the bump. It didn't hurt (unless a lot of pressure was applied). It wasn't a blister (everything was under the skin), and when it popped it didn't hurt and didn't leak clear fluid. It was just a lot of pus and some blood. Now in its current state it doesn't hurt at all. Like not one bit. Not even when touched or when pressure is applied. I feel nothing.

I'm going to try to go though. The STD clinic here charges $50 for STD tests plus an extra $40 for herpes so idk how much they'd charge just to get it looked at for an opinion.

    Thanks for your input!

Oh, and I'm a bottom. No top I've ever been with has touched my public area or penis. So if I did have herpes, wouldn't it show around my anus? icon_eek.gif

If you're having sex and you haven't been tested, go get tested. Period. Stop looking for signs.

    If you're worried about herpes

CDCNationwide, 16.2%, or about one out of six, people aged 14 to 49 years have genital HSV-2 infection.

Gay Men's Health Servicesconsidering that 1 in 4 gay/bi men are known to have genital herpes,

There's a good chance you have genital herpes if you're gay and sexually active.

The only way to know if you have an STD or HIV for sure is to get tested.

Get it checked out for your peace of mind - but it sounds like a pimple to me.
It's not uncommon to get a pimple, from an ingrown hair or clogged pore, around the genital, ass, groin region.
I had them as a young man, and they'd show up rather quickly too. And, I was not sexually active at the time.
