Indeed. They asked god to guide them, so god did. Now we find out how much they trust god's decision. icon_wink.gif

When do they plan to pay those meddling gummints for the cost of getting them back home?

They objected to the US government. But the US Coast Guard and the State Dept were involved in their safe return to the US. So will they offer to pay back the costs of their folly to US taxpayers?

And how about child endangerment of infants? I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that in Arizona. icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh, they'll still thank God for saving them , not blame him for them getting lost.

Yes, God is remarkably selective in his micromanagement of human affairs. The parents said they were plagued by multiple storms & squalls. But God only gets credit for saving them, not blame for nearly sinking them and their babies. icon_rolleyes.gif

God forbid the storms and squalls were expressions of Divine Displeasure at their actions. icon_rolleyes.gif

The sailing forums have been all over this for days. But just wait and see how heroic and inspirational these goofs will be after the ghostwritten book and the hallmark movie. icon_rolleyes.gif

Juuuuust, sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tail of a fateful trip,
That started from this tropic port
    Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was an almighty sailor man,
    Skipper bigoted,
The passengers set sail that day for a
    Trip they'll never fucking forget...
    ...Never fucking forget.

Ok, Gilligan's Island theme song has now been officially rewritten. Go post THAT on the sailing forums. icon_biggrin.gif

This story is almost too funny to be true.

God really does move in mysterious ways. icon_smile.gif
