    I just think they got it precisely backwards. The gay rights movement didn't change to accommodate churches. The gay rights movement started to win and the churches stumbled over each other to remain relevant.

    Inspiring read, thanks for posting! As someone from the South, I can vouch that the younger generation is accepting. We're just waiting for older, crockety voters to die off haha. That's horrible but hey, I'm ready to live my life with equal rights. The old shouldn't inhibit the young.

    You make it sound as if gay friendly and accepting churches are really just out to keep membership and the clergy & flock really don't support gays deep down inside.
