The RNC hates democracy. Open debate would spell the end of it all for them.

This is a good move, getting the liberals out of the "moderating" process for the Republican primaries. Though all networks and broadcast outlets should be allowed to show the debate (which of course they wouldn't do if their own liberal hosts aren't the ones "moderating" the debate).

If the can ban poor people, black people, Mexican people and any other non-whites from voting, they most certainly can be choosy about who conducts their religious orientation ceremonies, I mean debates.

This is great news. The Republicans are acting true to form, as exactly as their critics predict. Republicans confirm that Fox News is their only approved outlet, that will give them favorable biased coverage while ignoring the truth. I wonder if Fox pressured them to do this?

Hey, I was with you till you tried to drag FoxNews into this. Look, FoxNews is not a part of the republican party, it is not swayed by conservative dogma and up and above everything else, FoxNews is Fair AND Balanced.
    So there.

They're just being petty, and this will only alienate more people from their party.

Freedom is anathema to Fascism. The 2 cannot exist together. Hence Republicans hate freedom, and freedom of speech.

This has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Simply the GOP does not want to give oxygen to networks that run free paid puff pieces for the opposing candidate.

In 2008 there was not just a primary debate ban, but candidates in conjunction with Moveon.org were pledging not to go on Fox News. Obama broke that ban eventually.

So i don't see the big deal here.

Since NBC would only likely serve up Lawerence Odonell, Ed shultz and Sharpton et al. Why even bother.

Considering the less than democratic actions coming forth from the White house, I wouldn't throw around the charge of fascism to a party that currently inst in power as the Executive.

Freedom of speech goes both ways, they have a right to not participate if they choose.

Well , short memory.... well the whole citizen united started with Michael Moores Fart-enheit 911 , then when Citizen united made "Hilary the Movie" Citizen united was refused ad time for the movie.

CNN ran negative "specials " on Mormonism just in time for 2012.

In addition Moveon.org and the dems participated in a boycott of foxnews for the whole Dem primary in 2008.

So whats the big freaking deal?

Well of course i didnt see the movie yet. But what was bantered about is that it is leaving out Whitewater and the Rose law firm and Whitehouse travel office. I dont think we will see anything too negative coming from Hollywood on her.

Its early but I am sure we will see alot more "engineered" political movies.

Personally I like Clinton and felt she got a raw deal in 2008. Her record and her husband record show bipartisan negotiation and pragmatism.
I think she took a dive for Benghazi and knows something more about that incident.

Republicans fear the truth. Hence they block any news outlets that might tell the truth. And their spokespersons and candidates immediately rush to Fox News, whenever they get in trouble or need to sell their talking points without any fear of critical analysis. They know the interviewers at Fox are Republican cheerleaders, never critics.

Republicans only want Right Wing Fox News to cover them, and no others who might question them. Classic Fascist tactics.

"Republicans fear the truth," and "Republicans only want Right Wing Fox News," etc. What a broad brush you paint with, making all sorts of generalizations and condemning an entire segment of the population.

Thank goodness we get "the truth" with no spin from MSNBC.

But you avoid the question, of why Republicans fear the truth. That they would block 2 major US networks from covering them. Try again.

    its just NBC and CNN,

ABC CBS , PBS and the new media are not cut out.

The Truth? please. They are avoiding them because they do not feel they are approaching there Primary debates on a good faith basis. JUST LIKE THE DEMOCRATS DID IN 2008!!!

NBC news has a very poor track record of being unbiased. It hires washed up political hacks and professional liars like Al Sharpton. Nonetheless NBC's chief political director Chuck Todd , bemoaned the decision of NBC as very damaging to NBC's news reputation. In a way he is giving the GOP decision credence.

CNN ran a fairly ugly piece on Mormonism , however never ran anything of the sort on Reverend Wright.

Wow! Two years before the election and the RNC leaders are already admitting that nothing newsworthy will happen during the Republican presidential debates.
    Entertaining, maybe. Newsworthy, no.
