NASA Probes See Earth and Moon From Saturn and Mercury

    Very cool stuff here. I think we get much more value for the money when we send these unmanned probes to outer space and I am glad the administration has chosen to focus on these kind of missions.

    The lighting in the backlit pictures of Saturn alone is stunning. To have the earth in the frame as well is a great extra. The Cassini mission has ended up being tremendous value for money,and to think that it has lasted as long as it has...

    I was still living home in the Nederlands when this was launched in 1997. Way cool to see the results over time.

    It is amazing the pictures we are getting from something launched so long ago. I wish we could have the spacecraft travel faster though, so we don't have to wait so long!
