If you can do without bread and food products with a lot starch (rice, pasta), as well as processed foods, you have pretty wide variety of foods to choose from. Meat, poultry, cheese and most vegetables are all okay.

Nuts- walnuts, raw almonds, mixed varities
    Vegetables- kale, garlic, cilantro, tomatoes
Fruits- grapefruit, watermelon, grapes, apples, oranges
whole grains/protein- no white bread, no pasta. Things like brown rice, quinoa, blackbeans, pinto beans
    Avacados- omega 3 fatty acids
    Organic lean meats- chicken, turkey
    cold water fish- Alaskan salmon

    No sugary drinks
Only water- unsweetened teas are acceptable, avoid sugar.
you must stay away from artificial ingredients, preservatives, "chemically charged foods," sugars, saturated fat, and trans fat. You need to eat "clean" food. That's that good shit.

I try and stick to the above mentioned foods as religiously as possible. I absolutely avoid putting crap into my body unless it's drugs or alcohol. Even then it's only low to moderate consumption.

Here is a low carb diet plan. I can't say that it is good or not, but the creator of the plan used to have a radio show here in NYC.

Meat. Rare side of medium rare...from Argentina if you can. Or just go there. Even better.

Butter. "Kerrygold" grass-fed, Irish butter. Or, any butter from Argentina. OMG! Just mix a quarter stick into a cup of extra strong coffee, add a little coconut oil and you've got a meal!

Broccoli, Spinach, Kale, and any deep leafy green or cruciferous vegitable. Eat it RAW!

Eggs. Cage free, organic feed, brown eggs. Eat them fresh and RAW! Crack 'em open and down the hatch 4-6 at a time.

    Egad, gentlemen!

    Give the man a break.

OP, just google 'low carb foods' and see what comes up.

    You can also read labels.

Meat has no carbs. Fat is not carbs.

Starchy vegetables, rice, root veggies all are high carbs.

Fruits such as apples, pears, peaches, oranges, melons all have carbs but they also have a good amount of fiber and their natural fruit sugars are easier for your body to handle than the sugary carbs in cakes, pies, cookies and other desserts.

Go to the American Diabetic Association website online and look for info. Diabetics need to limit carbs so you will find a lot of good advice.

And those yams and black beans have lots of good fiber, which is great for balancing carbs.

Egg shell colour doesn't matter ,that mainly depends on the breed of chicken. All the same inside.
