inthebackground saidwell, obviously the guy is in denial because he's NOT entirely straight if he's falling for another guy. it's no different than the gay guy who swears he's 100 percent gay BUT sleeps and has relationships with women. don't get why everybody wants to identify as straight or gay BUT not bisexual. most people are bisexual but just veer more to the straight or gay side. don't get why folks are ashamed of it though.

Hey, the point is to read the whole story. He was updating it. I didn't post this to judge or define his orientation. I posted this to give You a romantic story. Read all the posts from that guy. :-)

honestly, reading the post, i read it as a guy was questioning his sexuality or possibly knew that he has something for guys trying to waltz his way out of the closet using his friend to help him out.

didn't really see anything romantic or sweet about that at all because it didn't read like a love story. more like a guy who's trying to find himself through his friend.

Hmmm. I can see how you see it that way. Although I do think his feelings may be a bit more altruistic that you're interpeting.

honestly, reading the entire thread, i read it as a guy was questioning his sexuality or possibly knew that he has something for guys trying to waltz his way out of the closet using his friend to help him out which is cool. the thread is from three years ago though.

what do you think happened to? do you think he came out the closet?

He writes there that he felt in love with him and they became a couple - I think, that's romantic and sweet.

Yeah, he didn't found a gay union, he's not screaming to the world ,,I'm gay'' and he dares to discover himself slowly. He obviously has no political responsibility to gay community and his story is unconventional and controversial. Let's hang him. (I was sarcastic, just for sure...)

Can't You just enjoy someone others momental happiness?

why should i? i actually feel very indifferent about the whole thing as i've read and heard plenty of situations like this with the "straight" guy falling for the gay guy.

Yes, why should You...most stupid answer I could get on my question...:-)

Sweet story. So rare for a guy who identifies as straight to be open to that experience. I always assumed that a drunken pass at a straight friend who is asleep would destroy the friendship.

Shrug, not to sound like a wet blanket. But the whole story from the OP is from one month in Feb 09.

And his "boyfriend" is/was going thru gender reassignment.

"I thought I would mention that my friends is actually suffering from GID and is undergoing M to F gender reassignment. I felt a bit disigenuous by not mentioning this at first."

So the "straight" guy is getting a girl after all. The only seeming love story is a straight one.

The only way two guys can be together is if one becomes a woman? It might have been cute in the 80s but not now.

why only way? Just the way this case works. All gays don't have to be bottom/vers clones of Bridget Jones, Carry Bradshaw and Emily No name from Devil wears Prada.

There shall be space for different guys...isn't this what we tell to straight majority all the time? Then we shall make this space inside gay community first...
