Thanks elektrisk564 for the show idea.

Anyone a huge fan of the undead? I enjoyed Season One and I thought Season Two was even better. Season Three and "The Governor" kind of annoyed me some. By the end of the season: I just wish Rick would've finished him during that table discussion. I was sick of that little kid. I was tired of seeing Lori over and over. Andrea was rarely ever my favorite character but I got used to her. I missed Shane because he added a bit of drama and he was kind of cute in a "last people on Earth" kind of way.

The show took some very valiant risks this past season, and they paid off.

Same here. I preferred the first 2 seasons. The start of season 3 seemed good but as it got closer to the end, it just didn't seem as exciting anymore with the whole Lori and Governor thing. I'm kinda happy that Andrea died because I always thought she was useless and often did stupid things as a result of over compensation of her uselessness. I just hope season 4 will be good :/

Somehow I think Andrea is not going to be really dead after all. Just how it ended. Andrea was like the classic blonde who goes back and forth between two rich guys. Kind of like that movie This Means War. It annoyed the crap out of me. And the little love relationship between the two -- meh icon_rolleyes.gificon_lol.gif

Me too man. He got it from his mom though. I remember dying at the audacity of Lori during the first or second episode of Season One.

    "Give me a vehicle."

I was like -- bitch? No have a seat.

    Haha, yeah that whore. :p

Also, was it weird that I took one of the walking dead quizzes on Facebook and it said I was Andrea? icon_redface.gif

I will call you Andrea from now on. And well when she did the screen cut away and the episode ended. I think she was holding a weapon and crying over her but I don't remember actually. It just looked like something else was going to happen. I know that she did get bit though so maybe I'm looking to much into it. I did the little "Dead Yourself" application on their wall to change my profile picture into zombie.

    Shit was fun icon_lol.gif

Yeah I get the scrappy little personality but I kind of sided with Shane at times too. See the episode when Shane was trying to convince Andrea to dip off from everyone I was down for that. That could've been a spin-off situation and they could've come back later.

Is it also weird that my drag name is Andrea?... I'm just kidding, I don't do drag icon_razz.gif

But yeah, I too also forsee the whole Carl messing things up and thinking that he's leader just because his dad is Ric. Pfft...

Carl becomes quite hardened and embittered in the comics, even dangerous.

This was a very different Andrea than the one featured in the comics, much more remote and on the outer wings of the core group.

I been told that a lot is different from the comics. I kind of want to read them instead of watch the show at times.

They're worth getting. Key events play out very differently than on the series -- some characters exist only in the show, others only in the comics, which allow for a larger roster of characters -- and I suspect that the show's writers knew that they would have to tone down the violence.

The whole prison/Governor plot trajectory is markedly different, Andrea has a completely different arc, and Rick suffers even worse trials.

Yeah that will be my next investment. They could've been on HBO with Game of Thrones. I love violence that would've made it even better.

It's hard to watch this show and then walk around any American city and not see all the obese and slow moving people and realize how close we are to zombies right now.

I LOVE the show and comics. But I'm against a lot of what you said. Season 2 was rubbish and season 3 was epic.

Loved Lori and wished she had not have died. Shane was an ass and I'm glad he is gone before more died. Andrea should not have died, she was killed off because of stupid fans who didn't realise that she had the best intentions in a horrible situation.

Season 4 looks so good, I can't wait!

Andrea survived in the comics yet died in the show.

Glenn dies in the comic...but please let him live on the show. icon_biggrin.gif
