My resting BMR comes in at 1900 calories per day at 5'11 and 175 lbs, which jumps to 3500 after considering intense workouts 5 days per week. Does this figure generally incorporate calories burned on a job, or is this another factor to work in? I never considered this aspect before which could have been preventing me from getting to where I wanted to be as I tend to take serving/bartending work, which could very well add another 1500 calorie total to the figure. What do you think? While trying to gain weight and work a high energy job is it logical to think that just to be able to gain 1 lb per week that calorie intake should be around 5200 on a busy working day?
