Its just the same thing everyday since I was made redundant at work. I get up at 7am, make coffees for everyone before they go to work, watch sunrise(news), shower and get dressed, have a smoke, make my bed, house work (Washing,Vacuum,Clean), do my cardio exercises for 15 minutes, Facebook for abit, play video games, Have lunch, have another smoke, Washup, go out and check the P.O box, walk my dog, have another smoke, cardio again for 15 minutes, try and make plans with people who are always working!!, apply for jobs online, everyone gets home, dinner, talk for abit, bed. And so it goes on everyday its so boring I almost feel like a slave to living its not enjoyable anymore *sigh*

    I seriously can't believe I read all that. . .

I hate to say it, but once you establish a career in the future, life will still be routine. Wake up, drive kids to school, go to work, go home, eat dinner, go to sleep and repeat. Life is routine.

You're very fortunate to have a routine, OP. Because try looking into the eyes of people from 3rd world countries whose routines consist of figuring out if they have enough money to buy food for their families. Be thankful for what you have and if you're still unhappy, change your routine!

It might be only routine depending on the kind of career that you'll have and your personal perception of it. So the "at work" part may not be routine but the rest could considered to be.

Change your routine. Improve yourself. First off, stop being stupid and quit smoking. I used Chantix and recommend it. Second of all, get real exercise and lose the fat. You're making excuses. Stop eating shit food and learn what a good diet means. Then do it. Now, you're full time job is getting a job unless you're going back to school. Be up, showered, dog walked and ready to work by whatever time you used to go to work. Then start looking for a job. Stop at lunch, take a break, then go back to work looking for a job. Do it until 4 or so. Get your act together, boy!

^ ignore him. you can smoke all you like.

But, whilst you're not working, take the opportunity to be constructive with your time.

Get a hobby. Hobbies don't need to cost money. And hobbies can create variety as well as exercise your body and/or mind.

I've been feeling the same thing for months now... but didn't you just get a brand new beautiful boyfriend last week? How can you be bored already?

Here's a thought: Break up your "routine" by quitting the smokes. Your lungs and heart will thank you.

His hobby should be getting a job... Extra bonus: Once he has a job, he'll really learn what a routine life is like....

Quit smoking and go for walks outside the house in addition to your exercise routine. You will be healthier, save money, and the walks will provide a variety of sights and sounds.
