Umm, andyb91, the information on your profile comes off as a bit regurgitated (that's the best neutral word I can think of)...

I have heard that there are fashion and entertainment PR agencies that can market your work and even advice you on getting better visibility. I hope you are in a big city. If not, then what are you waiting for?

I know that L.A. models on Sunset and N.Y models in Manhattan have an open casting call every Tuesday and Wednesday! Where you can bring your photos in for them to critique. You might want to try a couple of London based agencies or send a couple of photos to your favorite agencies. (Is it Wilhelmena (spelling), IMG Male based in the UK?)

Not to sound mean or anything, A lot of male models have that dry/androgynous look! You kinda look like another cute/plain white guy to me! But maybe a professional modeling scout can offer a different opinion. Good Luck!

Don't listen to the poster who said get a tan. That will make you look dated and plain.

You have to look different, original, and unique. And, honestly, 5'10" is too short for the modeling world.

I hope you haven't gotten bogged down with some of the negative comments here. I say, if it is not coming from a professional in the modeling industry who has a well developed perspective to share then it is not worth listening to, esp. the negative advices. Give it your best shot if this where you want to go.

It's hard to tell from just those two clothed pictures but I think although you're a ten in the dating world, I also think (going by what I learned from the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency Show) they probably want you to get just a bit buffer and *still* lose a little weight.

Quoting myself because to explain to those that didn't get it (most of you) - half a chance because he has half a face. That picture needs resizing!

I'm not sure what the modeling agencies over there are looking for, but when I started out I didn't have a portfolio to offer, so they went with what I had, a simple basic head shot- face forward no makeup, no photoshop. a profile picture (head to the side) again no makeup, no photoshop. I know the agencies here start with that if you don't have anything to go by.
