Had a problem the last few weeks I haven't encountered before: Feels like a deep bruise on the bone of my forearm. My chiropractor called it "wrist splints", said it's probably from overlifting curls.

Anyone else gone through this? Suggestions on how to get around it in the meantime? Thanks!

    Your chiropractor has it right
what you're suffering from is classed as an enthesopathy
or an irritation on a bone where a tendon or ligament is attached to it
Yours is most from excessive lateral or dorso-plantar movement of the wrist
    as you're doing the curls
this puts excess pressure on the wrist and forearm

Thanks GQ. Should I lay off curls for a while or do something easier on the wrists like a preacher curl?
