    Seriously, I think the correct way is to put the weight on your heels and stand straight, hands free. But 95% of people seem to put the weight on the balls of their feet and lean over the handles.

    As for "running" - too much wear and tear, even on a flex deck treadmill. If you're over 150lbs you'll probably wind up needing a knee replacement.
