So.... (this is my first topic post thingy, yay me. haha)

Anyways, what I wanna know, how do you guys react to when someone eye-rapes you. I mean, I find it so awkward and never know how to react. It literally feels like they undressing you with their eyes. So how do you guys respond to this? What do you find is the best course of action when it happens.....especially when you don't find the person attractive!!!

I would do a cartwheel that somebody noticed me in that way. I only know straight people lately.

I'd probably get turned on and if I was feeling gutsy, I'd probably say, "Do you see something you like?"

I assume he hates me and is trying to stare me down, so I look anywhere but at him.

If you are interested, smile and go over to introduce yourself.

If you are not interested, but he's cute, smile briefly and then turn away.

If you're not interested at all in him and feel violated, look at him briefly and then yawn.

Now this response I like! . . . the yawn is brilliant strategy.

hmmm... not sure what you mean
rape is a pretty strong word

i have said to someone "can i help you?" in a situation where eye contact was odd and/or comfortable

if someone is looking at me a way that i don't like, i can either not make eye contact or move away (run if necessary).
i do not have to keep looking at them (or is this where the "rape" part comes in?)

If I don't find them attractive, I ignore it.

If I find them attractive, I smile at them and if they smile back, I pursue them. If not, I ask if they have a problem.

It's the term we use here for when someone looks at you with lust in their eyes. Its such a penetrating stare that it feels like they undressing you with their eyes and having their way with you. Rape is a strong word but it's adequate since often you feel violated by that look. Dunno if that clears it up for you a bit.

I get the double take mainly... not saying a lot but if it does happen it usually this and if it an older guy I usually just ignore them and get a little upset.. which is odd cause online I am attracted to older guys but in real life I always figure they are just being perverts and I trust them less easily... This happened to me last week actually, I was looking for a class and saw this older guy looking at me, not bad looking either, I just so happened to have one eye brow up because I was still searching and licked my top row of teeth provocatively right when I caught his eye but it was a total coincidence, he looked at me with wide eyes then I was like ohh maybe Im imagining his interest but no as I walked in the door behind him I looked back to find he had turned his entire upper body toward me awkwardly to see me again lol. I get a lil upset when someone I am not attracted to does it too oddly lol especially girls

I actually ignore Everyone who does it, even guys I like A Lot.. which may explain why I am single icon_sad.gif

    I love her so much!!

But tbh, Im usually the one doing the eye raping... I have a problem with staring at people lol. I have some people smile, some just ignore me, and some stare back lol. Although, this isnt just with gay guys...

It's a great feeling, but I want them to smile if you look back.

Out of curiosity.. what would be the ideal way to respond back to a guy like you..? I never know what to do, or how to prove to myself if it was just an accident or because of interest..

I think it is very flattering. When I am sitting at a bar talking to some cool folks and a cute guy across the room is staring at me is the best ego boost.

    Then comes the eye-sex.

Return the favor and smile bro. icon_cool.gif

    If I like him, I eye-kiss him.
If I don't like him, I eye-show him my middle finger.

Happens to me all the time. I don't really respond to it tbh... I'd prefer if they actually came up to and started a convo, flirting or otherwise.
