So its been nearly half a month since I last worked out. I've just gotten over a cold and started a new job where I'm happy at.

Its time for me to get back into the gym routine but I first want to know what all I can eat other than the primary lunch while I'm at work to help me gain weight. Plus its something that wouldn't break my bank. I was thinking to have oatmeal with protein powder.

Does anyone have any other suggestions.

I drink a protein shake on my way to work. Then I normally have two snacks to tide me over before lunch. A bag full of frosted mini wheaties (good fiber source), and Chobani 6 0z. greek yogurt (I prefer Lime, Blueberry, or Strawberry/Banana). The yogurt can get a bit expensive ($1-$1.25 each) but its a great protein source and healthy snack. Both of these snacks yield about 25g of protein total throughout the morning.

    Agreed.

Hard boiled eggs. Greek yogurt. Celery with peanut butter (YUM!!) blah blah blah. Shit, now I'm hungry.

why not eat some eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast
at work you should snack on nuts and greek yogurt. i would say do the plain because it has more protein.

i always keep a stock of protein bars in my desk. slim fast (as an added item, not a replacement) works great too.
