A fifteen minute nap, sitting up, in the late afternoon just before hitting the gym is wonderful! Rests the eyes after too many hours in front of a computer screen. Then a caffeine hit and then an adrenaline hit working out. My daily ritual.

I have noticed that if I do not get my 8 hours sleep during the night or if I have a lower body temperature and get diarrhrea, I get it has to be my hormonal changes.

A nap during the day is imperative for my metabolism.

Naps are great. Take some advice from the gif you posted, and nap with a friend.

If I nap, I can't sleep at night.

Rose Kennedy, who lived to be 104, said in her 70s that the secret to her stamina and alertness at her age was that she made it a point to take five or ten minute naps whenever she was in a car (fortunately she didn't drive). She stayed that way well into her 90s before she began to decline, and she only became less than alert after some bad health in her late 90s and early 100s. If that's any indication, then based on the long naps we take by the beach or pool in the late afternoon, guess we're going to live to be 200! icon_biggrin.gif

I have an hour for lunch at work, so I eat and then take a 15 or 20 minute nap.

I want back all the naps I didn't want to take as a child!icon_biggrin.gif

My brother and sister-in-law are discussing cutting out my baby nephew's lunchtime nap. I pointed out to them that I never looked back! Naps are the best! Just make sure they're not too long.....

I HATE naps! I feel fatigued and disoriented after I wake up. They do not make me feel refreshed in the least!

Class ends at 4, head to the lawn, stretch out under the sun and sleep for like half an hour before the evening rush to the library

Oh Lordie. How I love napping. Anytime.
I sleep with a big fan on my bed. It vibrates the bed, makes a soothing white noise, and blows gently on my face.
I call it my boyfriend. I couldn't do better.
    (I *want* to but can't)

I never nap. Ever. I usually see it as a waste of time. You can sleep when you're dead!

However, i've been working crazy hours lately and I DID nap yesterday haha...eep!

I love a good nap. I wake up refreshed and recharged and ready to complete my day. Sometimes i wake up at 7 or 8 and I'm back in bed by 11. But it just feels so good.

I feel the SAME -- since I was a kid I always thought that I would miss stuff if I were to take a nap. I didn't want to miss anything on television or anything going on outside.
