How do you delete a YouTube channel?

YouTube has started putting ads on my own videos...even when signed into my account. I can't even watch my own shit without being eye-blasted with some stupid advertisement for something I'm not even remotely interested in...and even if I were, it still interrupts my experience.

I just saw an ad on one of my videos when trying to watch it (trying to see how to improve it). I immediately clicked off of it and decided to delete my channel. Putting advertisements on other people's work without their explicit [ie. NOT small print] consent is fucking bullshit. YouTube will never see my business again once I get this account deleted.

You need to find where you select to make money from those ads. Sign up and they should start splitting the revenue with you.

Been signed up. Nothing ever indicated profit/revenue sharing (and you already know I've been in the adult biz - ad revenue is nothing new to me).

But this is totally uncalled for. I create an account to share videos with coworkers and friends; and YouTube puts ads on the videos I upload, which I have to see when I watch my own videos. Even when I had my porn site I wouldn't embed shit like that into my own vids (well, at least not when I was signed into my own account).

They crossed the line with this one. Do they really think the uploaders want to watch ads on their own stuff they uploaded? Are they really that fucking stupid?

I just had one blocked because I had some Led Zep on the car stereo for a few seconds while I stumbled to hold the camera still and shut the stero off. Maybe ten seconds of Led Zep and it muted my entire audio track.

I own that stuff on LP plus all of the reissues, way way back when on 8 track, cassettes (a little less way back when) CDs and iTunes /
