there is a thing, u have to eat proteins, double amount of your weight, I am not able to eat 150g a day, I struggle to eat 90g as all stuff full of protein is filling my stomach

I take protein shake, meat, cottage cheese, fish and that makes 90-110g of proteins, plus vegs and fruits during the day

what to do to eat 150g? I tried another protein shake but its too much and I feel like about to burst

You eat a gram of protein per pound. Not double...I don't think at least.

    Quick protein bar.

The ones I get are 20g of protein. icon_wink.gif

Maybe your protein shake doesn't have quite enough. Again, mine has 50g in it and I get that twice a day. And that thing is worth 1200 cal per serving.

Intek Evolution is a multi flavors protein powder. Very low calories, very low fat... it has 30 grams of protein per scoop (used to be 34g, but they re-adjusted their formula recently). Taking 2 or 3 servings in the course of the day, there's 60 to 90 grams right there... are you breaking up your meals into 5-6 small meals a day??? The Intek can count for at least 2 of them...

Greek yogurt, Quinoa is good for protein as well as being a super food. Going to a specialty shop for body building you can find lots of protein bars that range from 15 - 30g per bar but they can be expensive.

Some milk is pretty high in protein as well
I'd recommend Homo since you're on this site.

Actually the general recommendation is about 1g per pound of lean muscle, as far as I understand. So you could probably generally be eating a bit less than 150g (I'd say probably more around 110-130, just from looking at what your body fat percentage is around based on your picture).

A lot of missing info here.

As per your indication, is it safe to assume that you weigh 75 pounds?

As well, how much protein is contained in a serving of your shake?

What are you making your shake with and how many ounces per serving?

The general rule is 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight with the higher range for those in a training program.

See if the following generic example is doable for you:

1 protein shake in the morning ( a good protein powder will have at least 22-25 grams of protein for 1 scoop) made with milk or soymilk will render almost 33-35 grams of protein.

Have another at night and you've already knocked out 60-70 grams of protein for your day.

Then add in the other food items indicated that you're eating and it is totally doable

I was struggling a while back too...egg whites are the easiest way for me to get more protein in without feeling stuffed. Like everyone else said I would also look for a shake/bar with a higher content.

Its hard to get there, but I take protein shake three times a day. First when I wake up in the morning, one 2 hours before workout and another one after workout. And then eat 4-5 meals with 10-20 grams of proteins in each meal. Keeps me floating around 150gm per day. Am truing to up it to 170-180 a day. Snacking on almonds/peanuts is also a good way to get good protein and essential fats.

I heard your body can't even really absorb more than 50g of protein at a time, so I doubt you really need double although I've read many calculators that say that but I don't believe em. For me I usually eat around 100 a day, a bit more on training days.

I always just try and eat around like 6 times a day including snacks, that way your metabolism is always busy and you're never hungry too long.

    1.5c 2% milk
1.5 tbsp peanut butter, low sugar variety
    1.5 scoops whey protein powder.

That's about 50g of protein all in one shake. It works for me.

It's not good for me to eat Whey protein.

    So, I tried rice protein.

Last time I was at store that sold supplements, I found

beef protein powder and yellow pea protein powder.

Man, I tried Whey isolate drink and knew it wasn't digesting well if at all.

Just change 1 thing every week that increases your protein intake by 5-10g per day.
