Yet again, Google Chrome froze on me today (usual javascript problems). I have tried all the fixes, without success. The freezes seemed to be getting more frequent and more prolonged, so I have binned it. I should have done it ages ago.

It might be your OS, not Chrome.
I run Chrome on Linux and Windows. I have more problems with everything on Windows than on Linux. Unfortunately, some things are only written for Windows and/or Mac.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems. Try Firefox.

Thanks. I've used Firefox before (not sure why I gave it up), so I'll give it a whiz again.

I use Google chrome on both mac and pc. Never had freezing issues. But lately I've notice slow response time connecting in the last week. Don't know what that is about. Any tech experts?

I only use Chrome for certain sites. It's pretty slow for everything else. Firefox has always been my main browser. The selection of extensions can't be beat. And the customizability is great.

Firefox is good, until it doesn't work. I constantly (2-3 times a day) have to clear history, web cache and reboot.
