What's a deal breaker for you?

I have seemed to notice that there are 2 common deal breakers when trying to date someone off the internet. It seems that even if the chemistry is there and both dudes really are interested in one another the idea of dating seems to get dismissed if either the age difference is too great or the distance between the two is too far.

So my question to you what is more of a deal breaker in your opinion? Distance or age? And this is considering that both of you are what you are looking for in a partner.

Personally I feel like if I think I really found someone that is compatible with me then I would eventually figure out a way around the distance. People aren't trees and we can move if we want too. And as far as age is concerned I know some young people who are more wise than some 80's I know and some 60 something people who still act like their in high school. So if things workout between the two people you should enjoy it while you can because ya never know what could happen in the future.

I think my only immediate deal breaker would be hard drug use. Complete turn off in every way for me.

I'm almost completely off of the percocet's so we should be OK. icon_wink.gif

The only meds I took today was one percocet at the end of the day.

Not being heard...is a deal breaker....regardless of how your respond to my request or question, at a minimum it should be acknowledge. That is a strong indicator of disrespect.

    Deal breakers:

    Smokers, Alcoholics
Ignorant, racist / too closed minded
No job, no car, no money, no honey lol
    Arrogant, bitchy, bitter
Too short or too tall or too skinny/chubby
Too young and too old ....
Just want to TOP or BOTTOM exclusively
If he already has a boyfriend or in an *OPen relationship
If he's negative/pessimistic all the times
If he wants to go clubbing like every week

Ok, that's it! damn that's a long list.

    Automatic disqualifiers:

    Kids
    Untreated Alcoholism/Addiction
    Republicans
    Smokers

Other than that I'm pretty easy going (not that I'm beating them off with a stick mind you).

If someone reveals themselves to be a little monster, does porn, drugs, or doesn't have a car those are a couple of deal breakers I can think of off the top of my head.

Deal-breaker: inability to correctly use "there," "their" and "they're." Ditto "your" and "you're."

Oh also, habitual flinging of one's own poop.

I'm undecided as to which offense is more egregious.
