Don't know if there are any Arcade Fire fans around here, but anyway, here it is (probably): the best song from 2013!

Cool video. I'll have to listen to the song a few more times to decide if I love it, or not.

Great video. I had heard that they were releasing a new album soon, but didn't think we'd get a single this fast.

that was great!! Thanks for the post. Arcade Fire is the bomb, I was really disappointed when they weren't featured during the 2010 Olympics closing ceremonies.

Very interesting new sound. I adored 'The Suburbs'. That record is some kind of masterpiece. This new sound is like a mixture of jamming and electronic experimentation. Look forward to hearing the full record.

To each his own, but they've been around for a while.

The suburbs is a good album, same for neon Bible.

Yes! I saw them 6 years ago and had the same feeling. The best concert I've ever seen.

Arcade Fire is consistently one of the most innovative bands making music these days.

...tell you far more about the commenter than about the band

I'm actually very excited to hear this new album. I wasn't a big fan of "the suburbs", but "Funeral" and " Neon Bible" are two of my favorite albums of the decade. I do understand why some people just aren't into AF. They might sound a little cocky here and there, but they are one of the most innovative bands around, and I do appreciate their quest for new sounds and genres. Saw them live a couple years ago and it was a mind-blowing experience. BTW, "Reflektor" will be a double-album. Couldn't ask for much more!

The Funeral is epic indie music. Everything else is okay.

This is pretty much exactly what I was about to say. Loved the first 2. Didn't pay attention to "The Suburbs". Not a fan of the more electronic stuff, but I respect their desire to keep changing.

There's no question about their live show though. Easily one of the best live acts around.

one of my favourite things in music is when "guitar" bands rock disco beats.. the results are usually pretty awesome.. this one doesnt jump out at me as much, but AF music always seems to grow on me after repeated listens (another hallmark of a talented band)

I've always liked Arcade Fire, but I feel like they've slipped a little with each album since their first one, 'Funeral'. Everything they've done has been good, but nothing has come anywhere close to matching the bombastic, organic beauty of that album.

Wow, I sounded like such a douche right there...

I love them but wasn't such a huge fan of 'The Suburbs' - I also love LCD Sound system and the producer for 'Reflektor' worked with them a lot so I'm looking forward to hearing the album in full. Love the first single and the video.

SO TRUE!! And yes, I really hated 'Funeral' for the first few months - then I revisited it and loved it - go figure.
