I am only beginner at gym

could you pinpoint the exact moment muscles are going to be torn?

can you tell me if I do 5 work outs for chest, so first 2-3 there is no problems with finishing reps and sets, but the problem gets on the last two ones as I struggle to push up and I ended up failing to push as arms can't push it more to finish sets, is that the point when muscles are being torn, or it's just because my arms are tired and refuse to push more?

    thanks

5 workouts? do you mean sets? If you can not push anymore. It means you have gone into muscle failure. http://www.menshealth.co.uk/building-muscle/get-big/muscle-failure-336358
