I don't know how many people play any sports but for the ones that do, what was your best or most memorable game?

I remember during summer of 07 I was in a 5 on 5 basketball game. and some of my friends were concerned about me because I didn't always try my best and out of everyone, I was statistically the weakest player. Halfway throughout the game I went from missing easy layups, and having poor defense, to making the most steals and essentially scoring the last 4 points in a 21 pt game. That was pretty good.

Most memorable was 4 years ago during a soccer match I had kicked the ball towards the net and the defenseman decided to block the ball with his face, breaking his nose.... It's funny now but not so much when it happened....

Dodgeball in 3rd grade. I managed to dodge the ball until I was the only one left. I cost my team the game. icon_biggrin.gif

Mustang baseball: I threw 8 strikeouts in a row.

8th grade baseball tourney: I was catching. I thought I was back far enough from the plate because I was pushing against the umpires protective pad. The batter swung and hit me directly in the elbow (glove side). I dropped forward in screaming pain. As soon as my mom got out there my elbow had a bump that stuck out over an inch. Went to the local hospital, x-rays showed nothing broken. After overnight icing it turned out my elbow was fine and was able to play the next day. Found out that when my coach picked up my glove off the field I had caught the ball and was still in the glove.

Freshman year HS baseball: The starters were sucking horribly. We were down 16-1 in the fourth inning. My coach put in all the benchers. We all hit really well (especially me) and came back to win 17-16.

I remember the first and only time I scored in a "competitive" basketball game. I was probably 8 or 9. After I scored I celebrated for like a minute straight jumping up and down. I don't think I ever scored another point.

At around the same age I played baseball. I was practicing my swing in the practice area and I ended up hitting this girl in her thumb.

I used to surprise people with how good I was at various sports growing up. I was fast, and served the hell out of volleyballs.

No particular ONE game, but our best wins (that meant more than some others) were against Cal (Berkeley) when I played H20-polo. Cal was our biggest rival, although UCLA was right up there. We were NCAA champions some years, and Final Four the rest of the years when I was an undergrad. I loved playing / and anything to do with water. I wasn't any good in any sport not involving water.
