My goal is to lose 10 pounds by Christmas. I've probably gained about ten pounds since April. I know that's alot to some, but I'm happy. It comes from the whole comfort/nesting together.

    Seriously though, Advice.
Me and my partner are going back to his country right after Christmas. I'm warned ahead of time that I will gain 10 pounds while I'm there. What's a really quick way to get it off before I go so I look the same when I get back?

Drink some coffee and you'll drop off about 4 lbs. Set in a sauna and you'll drop about another 4. Don't eat, and you'll drop another 2 lbs. Poop, and there goes 1.5 pounds. Gosh, almost seems like a silly question now.

You'll drop ten pounds quickly, all while training your body how to be a fat storing machine.

10 pounds is just water weight (glycogen loading).

Eat. Workout. Get a trainer. Get some pictures.

Tell yourself anything worth doing should be worth doing well.

    Educate yourself.

Get off your lazy behind and complete your profile.

Make something other than a minimum effort.

Find an athletic activity you like and keep doing it.

    Add resistance training (it's MANDATORY).

If you can't lose ten by 25 December 2008, something is seriously wrong.

I can drop 7 pounds overnight.

After you drop some water, get serious, get educated (not heresay), get off your behind), get eating, and get your butt into motion.

Find an athletic activity you enjoy and keep doing.

Get rid of your fat friends (they WILL NOT add to your effort).

    Be consistent.

If your mind is in the right place you'll get weight off, but, 5'8", and 170#, why are you even worrying about weight? That's just silly.

Hey debussy! This is a good question and I think what you do in the morning is a big part of weight loss. Making sure you get a healthy breakfast and lots of water is key. Sorry for the promo, but I did a free 5 day course on my site for quick weight loss which walks you through each step...so far have gotten a lot of great feedback. Would love to hear what you think.
