Nice film. It really hits home. I have a straight friend getting married in less than four hours. I've always accepted that he's straight, but when you have such a close connection with someone, it's hard not to think how perfect life together would be if he wasn't straight and marrying a girl.

But no one ever said being gay is easy.

Wow, this is really random. I JUST watched this short film before I saw this post.

Definitely worth the 15 minutes that the film is crammed into! Great symbolism too, without hitting you over the head.

I wonder how many of us have been in this guy's shoes a time or two? I know I have - and had the same kind of blue mood at the wedding reception. I'll never forget a few very special guys - but I moved on - and learned there were more great guys to come my way..........life is what we make it! Great short film - thanks for sharing it.

was I the only one who didn't find it special?

I liked it but it's not like I was impressed by it. I've seen much better gay-themed short films

That was nice. Is that the guy who plays the love interest in Ugly Betty? Can't tell.

Never mind. found the answer. Not the same guy.

    Good Video

I think my guy was the only one for me and because I'll never be with him I'll never know anything better than now. It took a little more than a year to get over it but I still think life is a waste without him. He has a girlfriend who he loves and I know one day that will be me lying on a bed in some hotel.

"Life is but a walking shadow,
a poor player that struts and frets
his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury signifying nothing."

    -Shakespeare

    ...Maybe that was too sappy

I really want to, but can i view it on somewhere else? My net is so disgustingly slow that it's far from funny.

sad? yeah for sure, but think of the women you've known who may have felt the exact same thing about you when they found out you're gay icon_neutral.gif

Seen it before. Not as sad as a lot of others though. icon_razz.gif In terms of unrequited love, plenty of other sadder films out there.

    But it is good. icon_smile.gif

It was okay. I liked it. Didn't love it. I was pretty under-impressed with the acting.

Sad, though, cuz we all know this shit goes on. And how many hearts are broken.

Uhhh it was sad but I wouldn't say it was the saddest thing ever. You should watch Old Yeller or Dumbo. If that shit don't make you cray then you must be a lesbian.

I saw this about a year ago. Definitely a tragic story. But I liked it.
