I don't think that pleather is environmentally friendly either. I do hope that this becomes an affordable environmentally friendly alternative. I would rather buy my shoes made out of this new stuff.

It is my prayer that we may one day have a world where the murder of animals for our sustenance is no longer a reality.

If someone rips off your ear and eats it, that's cannibalistic.

If we manufacture an ear and attach it, and then someone rips off that ear and eats it, is that cannibalism?

What if they eat the manufactured ear between growing it and before attaching it? Cannibalism?

What if someone figures out how to stitch together those leather swatches, 3-d printers themselves up a cow brain, and circulatory system, stuffs it all with some of that 3-d printed meat, mixes well and forms a pet cow?

From whence arises sentience and is it only valued once observably demonstrated?
