I had my doubts about DLing it.

I tried several times yesterday.to get it thru my laptop; always got "timed out" before it finished.

Then, after I had given up on it for the day, a DL window popped up on my I-phone. Smooth sailing, it slid right in.

I like the brighter colors. Also, the response time is even quicker than the already fast 1-5 time was!

    So far, So Good.

I dislike the new icons. They look flat and "girly." iTunes radio was cool until it started playing music outside of the genre of the station I created. Other than that, I think I like the new system.

You can disable a few annoying apps such as Safari by going to restrictions. It will remove the icon. You can also disable AirDrop from the menu that pops up in restrictions.

I loaded IOS 7 on my 4s and some of the response times are sub-optimal. The 5s has a 64 bit processor that makes all that go away.

I also synced my Outlook contacts to iCloud and now they're all fucked up.

    aaaalmost done downloading.

I'd stick with 6(no surprises) but I lust for the new anti-theft must-have-icloud-login features.

    [edit] Its updating. icon_razz.gif

LOVE IT. Downloaded on our iPhones and iPads - all of us, kids, too. iPhone 5s on order, too - can't wait for FedEx to deliver them!

Took about 20 minutes to d/l Thursday and so far I like it a lot. Seems faster and batter life is longer.

Anyone know how to close apps you open? Before you could double click home and there was an x on the app to clear it out. Now the x isn't there and all the apps used are still there.

This puzzled me too. double click the home button and swipe up on app "window" / "icon" and it goes away.

I learned this magic trick by downloading the IOS7 manual to my iBooks.

I'm upgrading as I type... been watching friends use it for days now... and I have to have it for work. Can be initially cautious about upgrades but everyone I know loves it! So - excited. I have a 5.

I'm still stuck with a 4S, and the upgrade has sucked for me. It's noticeably slower, and it keeps losing the WiFi connection as it seems to do with every major release. Some of the common tasks seem easier, but others have been made harder. That may be just a matter of me learning new shortcuts, but that's a pain in the butt.

It's running smoothly - looks quite different... but doesn't feel that magical. I don't care for the thinner typeface. Wondering how people with vision impairments are going to deal with that.

San-Serif looks "clean" but is often harder to read. I don't understand why companies and designers don't understand this. icon_neutral.gif

There are many improvements over iOS 6, particularly muli-tasking and the control panel. However, I don't care for the color scheme. It is taking some getting used to...

I changed the font to bold under accessibility controls. I don't like skinny fonts on something you want to read on a quick glance.

I upgraded my iPhone to 7 and I'm not loving it. Hate the fonts...have to squint to read it at a glance. The icons are now practically fluorescent and look like they belong on a teenage girl's jewel encrusted phone. I find the whole design harsh on the eyes and unpleasant to work on.

woodsmen saidI love the male Siri's voice. Now I can ask gay Siri all sorts of nasty questions!

Is Male Siri a top or a bottom do you think? icon_lol.gif
Siri refused to answer, so we're thinking bottom. icon_lol.gif
