iTunes is streaming 2 of 2 the second half of JT's album. I thought the 1 of 2 was garbage. But 2 of 2 is Thriller-good.

    Your thoughts?

    Thriller good? No...
It's better than part 1 but still not a Platinum selling, "OH MY GOD JT IS BACK!".

Michael Jackson was Quincy Jones' son. Thriller was as much or more a QJ offering as an MJ offering. Like Thriller every song on 2 is a hit beginning to end. The closing ballad is spine tingling. JT is back!

man...please....Quincy Jones was a force in the music world, as an arranger, producer, mentor and so much more, long before MJ was born, for both white & black music artists.

You ignorance of the music world is only exceeded by your youth.

Please do some research before you make such blatantly false statements!

man... please. michael jackson been doing his thing BEFORE quincy jones. who was the star of the jackson 5 again? they all were talented BUT besides joe jackson's belt, michael jackson was the force of that group. lou pearlman made nsync. justin has never been able to do it by himself without someone elses help. in fact, many people's help.

I'm not saying Michael Jackson was untalented; he was super talented. Yet still his biggest albums were produced by Quincy Jones. Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad.

It could be argued that Diana Ross was to the Jackson 5 what Ron Pearlman was to NSYNC. Before Diana Ross, Jermaine was the lead singer; Michael sang background. Ms. Ross gave the group several Smokey Robinson songs and Michael took center stage.

not even gonna bother to listen because as far as i'm concerned, it's someone elses work and it'll probably be wack as fuck anyway. dude is NOT responsible for his own success. he's timbaland's son. he sure gets a lot of credit for what other people do for him.

Very true. He's yet to detach himself from Timbaland's tit. It's probably for the best though. If he's that corny over Tim's production, imagine how dry he'd be w/o it.

sadly, it is. timbo NEEDS justin @ this point more than justin needs him. icon_sad.gif timbo literally disappeared off the face of this earth when justin stepped away from music. don't know HOW he managed to do that considering how he was literally dictating the direction of people's careers and their success for a good while including justin's overrated ass.

i actually dislike how these pop stars that are extremely overrated or just plain untalented ride the waves of the rap/hip hop or r&b community when their pop wave is no longer marketable. you have miley cyrus trying to do that shit too. heard that she was dating mike will made it. icon_rolleyes.gif it's annoying. actually hate to see rap and hip hop fans and artists embracing these clowns too when they're only fucking with hip hop and r&b to exploit it. shows how overrated and/or untalented these guys are. of course, the rappers are going to do it to get more exposure and record sales. it's sad to see how a legit art form like hip hop is just treated the way it is where it starts to lose it's meaning.

IDK about all that. Tim could walk away from music and would still be set for life off the 90's alone. I don't really mind that he works with lesser talents. I just feel like he should stop wasting top notch beats on them since they have no clue what to do with them. "4 Minutes" was a perfect example. That could've been a monster if given to someone that had the energy and personality to match the track. Anyone but JT and his grandma. Lolz

JT is such a talent. His strength is his ability to know a good collaboration when he sees it, and run with it. Loving his latest with Jay Z, "Holy Grail".

Oh well, everyone can see from a mile away that Miley is only bitting rap for a come up. When that rock career failed she found something else.
However, Miley would have never got press like that if Hip Hop didn't sell out to the most ratchet level possible.

While I'm not impressed with some of the images (VMA's, tongue out) I get why she's doing what she's doing for "shock value" in order to break the Hannah Montana mold for good and be taken seriously as an adult pop artist. I'm actually pretty impressed at how Miley has insisted on doing things HER way for this record, and for the most part the results are hugely successful and her record isn't even out yet. Both ""We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" hit #1, and the early buzz on the "BANGERZ" CD is extremely positive. Miley as the advantage of already being a seasoned veteran at the age of 20, so she's not going to allow herself to be lead or pushed in one direction by any record executive at a label. She has the power, and the money, to do it all herself, and then pick the label she wants to distribute her brand.

I like Justin Timberlake as a musician, and hope that he sticks with this and gives acting up.

I still think it is shitty that he didn't thank Timberland or Pharrell for his success. Without them, Justified would not have been a hit.

    Have you seen this yet?

Nas and Common can't sell anymore, but this fuckery will probably go straight to #1. SMH
