Sounds like someone is working on an installation piece for their MFA.

I have a Baldwin Acrosonic - older than that one, but still. They're tough little pianos. I would love to be able to sit down and play a piano sitting in the middle of the forrest for a few hours. Sounds like a blast.

We had a small piano that we could have tried that with; what a cool idea.

We have a cabinet upright grand now, though, Heintzman (July 1900), and that beast took 6 guys to get it upstairs.

whosever it is, maybe they were on Ambien. That stuff lets you do stuff "in your sleep" and you never remember it when you wake up. I stopped taking the stuff after one nightime escape. That was enough for me.

Well, there was a bench there, so I'd assume someone was playing. In all reality, I think it's quite a romantic idea. Forests get bad raps due to the common findings of bones and rapes, but I cant think of anything more wonderful than the sound of a piano in the woods. I've been told that the trees create a "natural" echo that sanctifies the purity of the music.

    loved the idea.

What a beautiful image (that of someone playing in the middle of the woods, and then leaving the piano there)!
