The problem is that if someone you love doesn't have insurance, that puts either your own assets or your heart and integrity at risk.

I actually worry quite a bit about guys who want to come out to the ranch and use my power tools and farm equipment, climb ladders, hike in rattlesnake territory, etc.

Well lets be honest, with "dating", you probably wouldn't know whether he has health insurance or not, so you wouldn't (practically speaking) be able to make that decision. Would you want to "be married" to someone who has no health insurance is a concern, that would need to be discussed.
I have no opinion as to whether I would or wouldn't, except we'd have to come to a positive conclusion as to why....

I never really thought about it as I've always had health insurance. The only state I've lived in is Hawaii and it's required by law to be insured by your employer if you work 20 hours a week

If Suze Orman has taught me anything it is that the only number you need to know with regard to your partner......... is their FICO score. Sexy sexy FICO scores.
