OR if you had a choice where would you travel to that you have not been to yet and more importantly WHY?

As this weekend is the start of the holiday season, I figure that many of you are going to travel away from home or are going home to your families. However, for many of us, going home is not the ideal choice for a time off from work or just a change of pace. If you could choose to go anywhere you wanted on a holiday where would that be?

For us, we would try to choose a place that was gay friendly, has a good variety of things to do, that is, sport activities, cultural activities, lots of things to see, etc.

At this time of year that choice for us would be Sydney, Australia. We have been there twice before and loved the city very much,

    and the men, WOOF!!

My family's cottage on the Bay of Fundy. I have been going there for at least one week every summer since 1964. If I found out I had six months to live, that would be the one place I would want to visit. That is also where I want my ashes scattered. A lot of happy memories are associated with that place.

Probably Jamaica, to see family and show Bill some real tropics. He's never experienced this.

From my home in the UK, I have been around the world with my backpack and camera. But the three top choice destinations I had been to, and I would visit again would be Jerusalem, Israel; San Diego, California; and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

I love to holiday in my back yard. For one it's big. 1 acre, and so I have lots of personal space, where all rules are mine. I'm about to go out in it now, too enjoy this grand Spring day we have ahead of us, and it's just one big blue sky outside right now.

I love the Mediterranean and its islands - especially the rocky coastlines with coves and hidden beaches.

This summer I happened upon Menorca and found (thus far), the best of those coves and beaches.

Otherwise, I love Santa Fe....no particular reason, just always sunny, clear, great food, hiking, hot springs, lots of art.

The best trip I've ever taken was to Basata and Dahab on the Red Sea in Egypt. Absolutely amazing, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

The Canadian Rockies...I have traveled a lot and the National Park system in the CDN Rockies is totally amazing. What also makes it great is that you can do it on a budget and stay in hostels or camp, do it with medium expenses with b&bs or go high end with resorts.

My favorite place I've traveled to is China for my mom's birthday. We went to Guangzhou, Beijing, Lanzhou, Dunhuang in the Gobi desert, and Xi'an. My brother and his wife took me gay clubbing in Beijing.

I'd love to tour South America, especially in the Andes
