Do you make things? Woodworking, gardening, cooking? Collecting? Hiking?

What hobbies would you like to take up?

I like cooking and baking sweet things. Being it's been summer I've been making ice cream. Time to get back to baking.

I also knit; just started my first pair of socks. (May end up being just one sock since I just picked some random yarn I had and it looks like it may not be enough for a pair of socks. But it's a learning experience and that's all that counts at this point.)

I would like to take up pottery and woodworking. Having a potter's wheel and a kiln would be cool, but probably expensive. Woodworking equipment probably isn't cheap either.

You can get deals on pottery wheels and kilns, it's the size of the kiln that's what's expensive. Throwing on a wheel is difficult, I like slab building.

Most of time ends up with projects around the house that I shouldn't have tackled, but I do digital renderings as a hobby. I've also made some money off it buy doing book covers.

Singing, writing and songwriting, all of which I'd like to make some money with someday, but they are mainly hobbies. One novel completed and I'm thinking of doing another. Coin collecting is a hobby I had years ago as a child, but got out of it over time.

Actually woodworking, gardening and cooking are three of mine. And collecting... power tools, plants and cooking gadgets! icon_biggrin.gif

Beyond that, video games and reading

Heh. My bathroom wasn't far from that, before it was remodeled. I finally hired a cleaning woman and now things are staying decent; I don't even mind having guests.

I don't have any real hobbies. Other than gym and computer stuff, everything is just kinda routine.

Yes, indeed I do icon_smile.gif I like doing makeup. I need more time and more equipment to really achieve more variety and, ahem, quality icon_razz.gif But I'm alright for now. I want to get better icon_smile.gif

Other than that, I LOVE talking about politics, just so long as it remains civil and people with opposing views don't start slinging around slander, name calling like children or being condescending and self absorbent icon_smile.gif
