"The measure of a gay man's femininity in a heteronormative society is much like the measure of an African American's skin color in a society of white privilege."

Must be some delusion in being a feminine gay man too. Not sure how a self-described "all-American-white-boy" has a whole paragraph worth of opinions on what being an African-American is like.

I really didn't read the article the first go around. I'm not really sure why he would come up with the skin color analogy. I see that he is speaking as a fem that can't really hide being gay, there is no passing for him. He is a flaming fem, I guess just like a dark skinned black can't hide who he is either. While masculine queers, can get a pass from society, because they can be confused as straight, for him there is no hiding it. I think that may be what he is really trying to get at.

He has a real knack for asserting ridiculous generalizations as though they were fact and providing no citations on said generalizations.

I hope he wasn't paid to write this by someone.
